Starting from a young age drawing, painting and just being creative I had my debut exhibition in the early 90’s in Gallery “Rarekiek” the art village of Gelselaar, in the East of the Netherlands. On the last day an art collector bought my mixed media painting “cow of leather”. An early artwork. A piece of leather in the shape of a cow glued on a typical Dutch landscape. At that time I was inspired by Mondriaan. Since many years I am based in Amsterdam, NL. The cartoon style in my artwork is leading. Over the years I kept on doing what artists do: creating (in between other jobs). I was lucky to travel far away. Asia is a great source of inspiration for me.The other side of ebmouse is a former Militairy Police Officer during the cold war era. My job as part of EMS ambulance team has also inspired me in my artworks.  Creating and sharing art, is life saving too. Without humor no life. Transforming negative energy into a positive flow.
